About the Creator

All memberships were developed by Alison Ryan, M.Ed. Alison has been working in schools since 2005 in a variety of positions, including classroom teacher, reading interventionist, reading specialist, and Director of Curriculum & Instruction. She is trained in the Orton-Gillingham method, SIOP method for working with English language learners, has extensive experience working with struggling readers, and has a master’s degree in literacy leadership.

Alison is also the author of The Phonics Playbook: How to Differentiate Instruction so Students Succeed. In addition, Alison and her work have been featured at educational conferences and on multiple podcasts, including:
